An Artist expresses his thoughts through the use of various mediums to capture his audience.
Most would think an artist is trying to reach out to the public in order to sell his creative forms of media, but that is not the case at all. Every artist is different with their own techniques and gifts, from watercolor, oil painting to abstracts. They're not showing their art to please everyone, it's a form of expression and if you see and understand what the artist is saying, it will also have meaning to you.
Unfortunately most artists aren't totally recognized until years after their death or just before, like, Emily Carr and Tom Thomson. If an artist is one of the lucky ones to be discovered within his or her lifetime, they are immediately appreciated through mass media. Once this happens, the world becomes aware of his or her accomplishments after years of being in the shadows.
Art is appreciated in the eye of the beholder and of its creator and it really doesn't matter what the world thinks of their art piece. After all, it wasn't created to suit the drapes, the room or peoples impression of what art is. Each artist has their very own expression and this is exactly what the painting, Aftermath of Hiroshima by artist Bari is portraying in his art piece.
Aftermath of Hiroshima by artist Bari expresses the pain, anguish and loss after the bomb was dropped in Hiroshima. The Ghosts of Hiroshima were witness to the power of the atomic bomb named Little Boy dropped on that day in August 6 1945.
It was said by witness those in the immediately area were evaporated from existence, while those who survived saw their flesh melt off their bones, extending their arms up looking like zombies of the walking dead. A time of extreme horror and the painting Aftermath of Hiroshima is a strong reminder to all of mankind how important it is to solve differences in a peaceful manner.
Artist Bari has also visit Pearl Harbor and expressed his feelings on canvas, remembering Pearl Harbor.
In Conclusion:
An Artist expresses his or herself in many different ways using various mediums, bringing his audience close attention to what matters.
It's only art to you if it matters or it moves you to support that artists.

Betelgeuse - The Dying Red Star by Bari Demers
The Big News about Betelgeuse:
Betelgeuse lies 640 light-years away within the Orion Constellation. The massive red star is the eighth brightest making it only second to its neighbor Rigel. Our Supergiant has now reached it's end, exausting the production of nuclear fusion and causing a gravitational collapse, reaching its new life of a Supernova. The Supernova will be so luminous we may even see it here on Earth.
It's not expected to go Supernova within 2012 as we like it to do, but it actually may take another million years. But it sure would be amazing to see Betelgeuse go Supernova in our life time.

Twas the night before Christmas by J. Robb Montana
A new twist to a classic Christmas poem by Clement Clarke Moore. As a freelance science-writer I thought it would be fitting to make a playful performance by Camilla. It's my attempt to share the work Camilla and NASA . "Twas The Night Before Christmas" now includes the official mascot of NASA SDO Camilla.
Who is Camilla
Who is Camilla
Even though Camilla focus is on education and public outreach of NASA Solar Dynamics Observatory ( Little SDO), the little yellow rubber chicken interacts with it's Facebook followers encouraging them to share the solar effects of our sun.
Camilla quote,"...While I do focus on the Sun and Space Weather, I also train to become an Astrochick and visit various NASA Centers and learn from so many people at NASA and other institutions..."
You can join Camilla on Facebook and Google Plus.
Twas The Night Before Christmas Video
Here is my version of Twas The Night Before Christmas in a video with Camilla has the host.
Enjoy my twist on the verse :
Twas the night before Chrismtas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
The Moon on the breast of the new Eclipse
Gave the lustre of dark red into the night
When, What To My Wondering Eyes Should Appear,
But A Large Ship, and something inside
With a little Yellow Chick, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be Camilla - the beloved Little SDO
More Rapid Than Eagles Her Coursers They Came,
And She Whistled, and Shouted, and Called Them By Name!
The Reindeer Were Stirring," Now Dasher! Now Dancer!
Now Prancer and Vixen!
On Comet! On Cupid! On Donner and Blitzen!
To The Top of The World, We Must Go!
Now Dash Away! Dash Away! Dash Away All!
When They Meet with An Obstacle, Mounted in the Sky
So Up To The House Top The Coursers They Flew
With a Ship full of Toys and The Little Yellow Chick - Camilla Too...
And Then, In A Twinkling, I Heard Someone Run
The Prancing and Pawing Of Each Little Sun
As I Drew In My Head, As I Was Turning Around,
Down The Chimney Camilla Came A Bound.
Dressed All In Fur, From Her Head to Her Foot,
Her Clothes Were All Tarnished With Ashes And Soot
And The Thought Occured, Where Had She Been,
It The Came Like A Flash, Camilla Must of Been At
The Rim of The All Mighty Sun.
But Wait, It Was True, Camilla Had Someone Too.
He Was Chubby and Plump And Not Even Blue!
And I laughed When I Saw Him, His Belly Full As Jelly!
Camilla Was Like An Aunta,She brought us Santa
They Filled All The Stockings Full of Food
Both in The Best Of Moods
And With That They Sprang With A Whistle
And Away They Flew Like The Down Of A Thistle.
But I heard Them Both," Ere They Flew Out of Sight,
"Happy Christmas To All, And To All A Good Night!"
Merry Christmas everyone and please share my video to your friends and family - Let's make it a Christmas Special reaching out to the children and families across the world.

The Power of Star Trek by J. Robb Montana
![]() |
Bari Marcus Anthony |
On a warm summer's night in 1967, as any young boy would do, I spent my
time looking up at the stars, watching meteorites shoot across the night
sky, dreaming of traveling across the universe, destined for an
unknown planet;
"...To boldly go where no man has gone before..."
Within a small town called Vernon, in the southern Okanagan valley of
British Columbia, my summer holidays were coming to an end. But, I was really excited to watch the newest science fiction TV series, Star Trek produced by Gene Roddenberry.
The year before Star Trek, another science fiction TV series had me
glued to the tube, Lost in Space produced by Irwin Allen.
I was hooked, all my days were spent playing and dreaming about Space
Exploration.
My world suddenly became Star Trek, actually imagining being
part of the crew along with Captain James T. Kirk. Dreaming, drawing and
playing Star Trek was a big part of my life growing into the thoughts of
becoming an astronaut. Little did I know at the time, only American astronauts
were recruited by NASA.
I religiously watched every episode of Star Trek, studying the rolls of
each actor:
1. James T. Kirk played
by William Shatner
2. Spock played by
Leonard Nimoy
3. Bones - Dr. Leonard
McCoy played by DeForest Kelley
4. Scotty played by
James Doohan
5. Uhura played by
Nichelle Nichols
6. Sulu played by George
Takei
7. Chekov played by
Walter Koenig
The original Star Trek series lasted three years, but that
didn't stop anything. I watched all the re-runs of Star Trek at least ten
times.
Then came Star Wars by George Lucas; space exploration was back in full
swing when Paramount Pictures produced eleven Star Trek films.
The Power of Star Trek rocked across the world where Trekkie's
dressed the part at Star Trek Conventions, including annual conventions in Las
Vegas.
Zip 10 years later, my calling as an astronaut faded, turning my interest into creative writing.
The Power of Star Trek stirred my interest into
science fiction script writing, where today I'm writing a screenplay, Synopsis:Black Angels - a science-fiction thriller by author Bari Marcus Anthony.

The Days of Darkness by Bari Marcus Anthony |
The days of darkness are imprinted in my past, just like it was yesterday.
To this very day I remember the sour smell of whiskey bottles lying on the floor beside the couch where my mom was sleeping. Her limp body lay motionless with her right hand grasping the twenty-sixer as if it were her life line.
I was doing what most five year old would do, playing with my new GI Joe on this cold winter day.
It was late afternoon when my stomach began to growl, quickly realizing noon hour past.
In our house we never ate breakfast, so lunch was a big part of my routine. My thin little body was so starved with malnutrition it wasn't uncommon to faint.
I stepped quietly into the living room of our small home, looking for my mom. I knee quietly beside her, reached over and nudged her arm to wake-up. She moaned but didn't move, so I used all my might to shake her. The reaction was over whelming to say the least. My mom swung her arm into my chest, knocking me flat on the floor. It didn't hurt thinking it was some sort of game. I quickly got up and jumped on top of her, yelling," Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Get Up!"
Had I realized this wasn't a game my instincts would have kick-in, but not this time.
It happened all in slow motion, wakening mother bear. She grabbed me by my arms, feeling intent pain, swinging me over her shoulders and racing me back to my room.
My weak little body was plunged into the darkness of a closet filled with dirty laundry and empty whiskey bottles. I just remember the pain in my back as I hit what must of been the whiskey bottles. The bedroom door slams shut and then complete silence once again.
The pungent smell was so overwhelming it made me gasp for fresh air. It wasn't long before pressing my face up against the cracks of the folding doors.
A river of tears streaked my face with stains," MOM! OH MOM! Please Mom..." is vivid in my mind this very day.
It wasn't long before I fell asleep, hours past before waking up to find my mom tucking me in my bed.
She washed my face with a wet washcloth, removing dry-stain tears from swollen cheeks. My mom very carefully slide her fingers across my long bangs, she kissed my forehead," I'm so sorry...can you forgive me Dex?" I nodded in satisfaction, knowing my mom's nicer personality had come to visit her son.
What seemed like a lifetime of abuse has been itched in my mind for eternity on those days of darkness.

SciFI Resource Material -Black Angels
Black Angels
An imaginative thrilling adventure about alien civilization before earth's last ice age over 250,000 years ago.
Writer Bari Marcus Anthony creates an exciting screenplay using archaeological and religious evidence found today by scientists.
Under the Gulf of Khambhat
In 2001 India's Oceanantic Institute discovered monuments seven miles from shore deep under the Gulf of Khambhat. Ancient civilization artifacts have been found to date as far back as 32,000 years. According to India's Oceanantic Institute, this civilization was covered over by ice age melting over 9000 years ago.
Legendary Lord Krishna
Hindu scholars believe this civilization is the legendary city of Dvaraka, home to Lord Krishna, an ancient powerful god in Hindu culture today. Hindus ancient scripts record a massive attack on Lord Krishna ancient city of Dvaraka by his elder brother, Devaki. It is believed Devaki attacked Krishna from the sky raining down energy weapons resembling lightning bolts. Krisha retalulated by releasing powerful arrows that roared like thunder. A massive war of particle rays from the sun finally destroyed Devaki flying machine saving Krisha's people. Krisha goes on to hide his city from further destruction, parting the sea, swallowing up the ancient city of Dvaraka.
City of Tiahuanaco
Ancient aliens civilizations have been discovered throughout planet earth, including stunning facts in Peru. High above in the Andes mountains,an elevation of 12,500 ft above sea level, lies an ancient city known as Tiahuanaco, located in a mountainous region east of the southern part of Lake Titicaca. Under the Lake of Titicaca scientists found monuments and facial sculptures resembling extraterrestrial beings and an ancient golden city called Paititi founded by the Inca dynasty, Manco Capac and Mama Ocllo, who were sent down to the Earth by the blazing of the sun.
In Inka mythology, Manco Capac and Mama 0cllo, children of the Sun, emerged from the depths of Lake Titicaca to found their empire within Tiahuanaco.
Big Rock
Just outside of Calgary, Alberta,Canada is a small town named Okotoks. 10 km southwest of Okotoks, for centuries, lies an ancient rectangular rock called Big Rock weighting in at 16,500 tons, measuring 134 ft. long with a depth of 29 ft and a width of over 59 ft. It is a massive monument that appears to have been dropped from the sky, due to a corner piece over half a mile from the Big Rock.
The Adventure
All of these artifact accounts of ancient astronauts caught James Montana Scripts.
Writer Bari Demers has pieced together an adventurous science-fiction screenplay, BLACK ANGELS.
An adventurous account of ancient astronauts arriving over 100,000 years ago on Earth, landscaping architectural wonders across the globe. SIRIANS were the first to cross genetics with APE-MAN, apparently improving mankind. What they didn't realize, was the consequences of speeding up evolution. Mankind wasn't ready and it made us into who we are today, a blood-thirsty intelligent race of human beings. Throughout our hostel history, mankind has conquered and destroyed anything in its path. We may have the intelligence, but we always resort back to violence.
BLACK ANGELS will take you on a journey of our ancient ancestors, explaining the scientific theories and what happened to them.

Asteroid 99942 Apophis
Asteroid 99942 by Bari Demers
James Montana
The asteroid, 99942 Apophis is headed our way to Earth in April 13th 2029, but it will pass by earth approximately 35,000km from earth. Sounds safe enough doesn't it?
Well it is, but the only drawback is this - the Apophis asteroid follows into our keyhole of earth's gravity which will pull it back to earth 7 years later. It could hit earth, headed directly towards California and Hawaii.
But relax, we have until 2036 to think about what to do about it. NASA along with private enterprises are already contemplating how to land on asteroids for the purpose of mining minerals.
